Dear little sister

In assured time, once hope arises,
We will climb about the tree branches,
Dangle down in mind-boggling positions,
We will sway our hips with the melody of the wind,
As we simply ooze with ecstasy.

I will continue to wait.

I plead with you sister,
Never forget my name,
And the power of a flame in you.
Remind me of the bond of two girls,
How we use to exhaustively roll over on the sports field.
Of the hope with which the wind carry’s day after day.
Let me, occasionally lay down my head,
To the melodious chirping of songbirds.

Yet alas, I am caged rigidly to circumstances,
All I can do in hope is to wait for a sign of a second chance, sister.
Like one of a child’s incapability to focus,
As she stumbles into the garden,
Ignoring the triangular hole she left empty behind.
Remind me how her steps are light and jubilant.
Bring her presence back to me again.
Please, Let me feel the hope my heart longs.
Not only encountering mirages of faith.
But this cannot be until we meet again.
